Celebrate the blossom season
🌸 I’m so excited to be part of the Green Communities Blossom Creative Commissions with Plymouth City Council and the National Trust! 🌿
This spring, I'll be working with communities around Central Park to explore the beauty of blossom through meditative sketching and nature sculpture making. As an illustrator, much of my practice is about using the arts to engage people with the climate crisis in a joyful way — creating spaces for connection, diverse perspectives, and community agency. This project feels like such a perfect fit!
I'll be collaborating with home education groups and refugee families, inviting people to slow down, observe, and celebrate nature in one of Plymouth's most fantastic green spaces.
Workshops will run between March and May, with a final showcase of community artwork touring the city at the end of spring.
If you're local to Plymouth, stay tuned for more details on how you can get involved!
This project is made possible through the National Trust's Blossom programme — supporting communities to connect with nature through creativity.
