The beginning of Community in print

The climate emergency needs urgent action but that can feel overwhelming and impossible. This is why Community in print has been launched. The aim is to run creative community-focused workshops that give you a safe and positive space to explore your feelings, take action and most importantly cultivate joy.

Joy? Yes joy, even if it feels like the world is ending, I promise there is hope.

Come and connect with others at one of the free workshops that will run across the year to find out how it all works. Latest information is on instagram @communityinprint, or via the website. For those unable to attend in-person workshops you can purchase original artworks themed around the climate, and bring the principles of agency, joy and action into your life from the comfort of home.

Each artwork sold contributes towards the running of subsidised workshops. Removing financial barriers of access allows everyone to benefit from creative practices, and gives all a seat at the table to explore their hopes, fears or confusion about the climate.

So whether you purchase a print or attend a workshop come and find the joy in action.

As a local illustrator based in the South West I am so exciting to be running the programme of events and for you to join in, from lino-printing to ceramics! See you there!
