Dandy-lion

from £15.00

‘Dandy-lion’ print takes inspiration from workshop five of the ‘queering climate conversations’ series.

This has subtle hues from the transgender flag, and features dandelions and hart’s tongue, plants commonly thought of as weeds, to celebrate them as valued member’s of our ecosystems. Both LGBTQ+ people and weeds are often ignored, at times forcibly removed from public spaces, and disregarded. But both weeds and queer communities have a wealth of resources, skills and knowledge that are of great value to ecosystems and society. This print aims to celebrate those overlooked to celebrate all of the under-appreciated and unseen contributions queer people (and weeds) make to our local communities and wider social change.
